Eric Wu as Senior Special Assistant of Chairman in Wistron Corporation, is mainly responsible for cooperate venture related initiative. One of his job role is to co-work with start-ups to inline cooperate business development. Wistron Corporation is the leading Electronics devices OEM/ODM company in Taiwan. Prior this, Eric has serviced in company more than 20 years. His job roles are product managers, business development and account managers. He used to be the President of Wistron Optronics Corporation, and General Manager of Optronics Business Division of Wistron. He has well experience in product marketing, business development, and operations of hardware industry.

Michael Lee
General Manager of Qisda Corporation, Business Solutions Group

Michael Lee is General Manager of Business Solutions Group at Qisda. Under his leadership, several M&A in business solutions area have been done in recent years to accelerate the integration of ICT and OT, to become the best strategic partner for customers’growth. He is also positioned as chairman of Sysage, Aewin, Ace Pillar, and vice chairman of Partner Tech. Michael Lee received the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University. His research interests include databases, data mining, mobile computing, flat panel display and multimedia networking. He has published 20+ papers and got 150+ patents in his research areas.

General Manager of Cornerstone Ventures

TP was an early member of Lextar Electronics and experienced the company's rapid growth to IPO, where he managed different functions including RD, product, sales, etc. Later on at AppWorks, TP gave guidance and invested in different startups, focusing on B2B, AI and IoT. Currently, TP is the General Manager of Cornerstone Ventures. TP believes that the future has unlimited possibilities, and hopes to work with outstanding startup teams. He completed his bachelor's degree in physics and master's degree in photonics, all from National Taiwan University.

Edgar Chiu
Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taipei

Edgar Chiu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taipei, a seed-stage VC fund and accelerator that helps startups expand into overseas markets by working with successful entrepreneurial mentoring, multinational corporations, and global investors. Prior to SparkLabs Taipei, Edgar was the COO of Gogolook. There, he headed global partnerships for the Whoscall app, a global caller ID service, developing major partnerships in Japan, Korea, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. In 2013, Gogolook was subsequently acquired by NAVER, the South Korean Internet Giant. Previously, Edgar worked at IBM as a management consultant. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.

Peter Hu

Peter (De-Ming) Hu is leading Solutions Technical Unit (STU) and Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) of Microsoft Taiwan. STU and MTC are organizations to accelerate enterprise customers' digital transformation with Cloud solutions planning, architecture design and resource optimization. Before he joined Microsoft in 2004, he has 6 years IT work experience in Systex Corporation, which is the largest financial professional service provider in Taiwan.

Diana Ni
Operations Manager of Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund

Diana Ni joined the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund (AEF) team in 2019 as a Fund Management Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Fund and assisting Taiwan's growth-stage entrepreneurs and Alibaba Group to complement each other's strengths with the Group's resources, creating more opportunities for synergy and market expansion. She graduated from the Graduate School of Finance at the City University of New York and the Department of Finance at National Chengchi University and has experience in Private Equity and Digital Asset Exchange. Since 2015, AEF has invested in 37 startups with a total investment of more than NT$5 billion in industries covering E-Commerce, Fintech, Cloud Services, A.I, Greentech, Healthtech, IoT, VR/AR, and Blockchain, and is committed to supporting youth entrepreneurship in Taiwan.

Dr. Hsu oversees MediaTek's global venture activities. Yuan-Kai Chen

Dr. Yuan-Kai Chen is now Acting Vice President of Corporate Investment Department of Chunghwa Telecom Co. Ltd. Prior to current position, Dr. Chen served in various strategic management positions in corporate strategy planning, M&A, new business development, mobile spectrum auction, 5G accelerator program and the researcher of mobile technology. By the extensive contributions, Dr. Chen received the honorable Outstanding Engineer Award from Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE) in 2016. John B Chen is a Founder and Managing Partner at Hive Ventures. Previously, John co-founded Buzzinate, a big data company, which later was acquired by iClick Interactive.
